Tell us a bit more about your adopted museum
The Coit Tower Museum in San Francisco, USA, is atop of the Telegraph Hill. It is recommended to use public transit rather than going by car as parking is very limited. It is surrounded by North Beach and Fishermen’s Wharf. The constructon of the tower was requested by Lilly Hitchcock Coit. The murals on the ground floor were painted by about thirty artists depicting the Great Depression. Two movies: Dr. Doolittle and The Enforcer were filmed there. For a fee of U$7.00 is it possible to gain access to the observation deck by elevator. The views of the city are fantastic!

Why have you chosen to adopt this museum?
San Francisco is one of my most favorite cities. A place I keep going back. I chose this museum because it is quite unusual. A total surprise!

Why would you recommend people visit?
The Coit Tower Museum is a landmark. It is part of San Francisco’s history. A must to visit.

How would you sum up your museum in three words?
Unusual, breathtaking, magical.
