My name is Ashley Ludaescher and I would like to adopt the C|O Berlin – International Forum for Visual Dialogues.
Tell us a bit more about yourself
I am a wedding and travel photographer living and working in Berlin. I originally hail from California’s picturesque central coast, but have fallen head over heels for Germany’s Hauptstadt and feel very lucky to call Berlin home.
Tell us a bit more about your adopted museum
C|O Berlin is located in Berlin, Germany. It is currently housed on Oranienburger Straße in Mitte in the former Postfuhramt (Royal Post Office). C|O Berlin is a photography museum which continually showcases the work of the world’s greatest photographers. It is open daily, year round, from 11am-8pm. Admission is 10€ with a reduced rate of 5€.
Why have you chosen to adopt this museum?
C|O Berlin was the first museum I ever visited in Berlin and still remains one of my favorites in the world. The exhibits are always first rate and the weathered walls of the old post office just add to the allure of the museum. The works shown at C|O Berlin never fail to leave me incredibly inspired.
Why would you recommend people visit?
Photography appeals to all ages and types of people, and every friend and visitor I have taken to C|O Berlin has loved it as much as I do. It is a gem of a museum and I recommend every visitor to Berlin to visit C|O Berlin.
How would you sum up your museum in three words?
inspiring, captivating, visual
